if you have the normal build, then it is probably a false positive from the bundled Google Chrome offerings.
as @kroozer points out, the Slim build is the same as the normal build, without the bundled software.
and then there is the portable build as well, also on that same link provided.
Will check it out in a sandbox analyzer. I like VirusTotal very much, but it doesn't confirm the file is not malware, only that none of the vendors have a signature for it. Will report back and if sandbox is clean, will let Sonicwall know about the FP.
Thanks!
I'm getting the same thing (ccleaner 5.05 has xpack.gen Trojan) through our SonicWall (NSA 3600) as well. We've never had trouble with downloading ccleaner though this FW in the past. I also tried the slim build with the same results. What next?
NSA 3600
very funny
is there no whitelist?

All builds are clean on Jotti and MetaScan Online too.
The only installer that gets flagged is the standard build that includes Google which is flagged as per usual by ESET.
Both the standard and slim installers from Piriform.com have valid VeriSign digital signatures too.
Edit:
Make sure you're only downloading from Piriform.com!
Actually the slim build does works fine... reading comprehension for the win
so it looks like just an over-zealous firewall that needs a customised rule then?!
