CCleaner 3.10.1525 does not detect AVG2012 for cleanup

Hello there. Recently I had to update my AVG Anti-Virus to the latest version, that being the 2012 one (free edition). I had AVG10 before, and CCleaner detected and cleaned it. But now, it seems CCleaner does not detect AVG2012 as installed for the proposes of cleaning it (it does detect it on the "Tools -> Uninstall" section though). It used to be under "Applications -> Utilities" but not anymore. I have already tried to reinstall CCleaner from scratch but that did not solve my issue.

Is AVG2012 not being detected because it is not supported yet? Or did I "bork" something up during my maintenance/update of AVG or CCleaner?

I did mess around in the registry, to clean the leftovers of AVG10, but as I do have common sense, I did not touch the CCleaner reg keys at all.

Appreciate any help. Thanks :)

Exactly! AVG has probably changed something like a registry key location, etc., which is why CCleaner can't detect and clean it.

Oh I see. Pretty obvious, uh?

They will update CCleaner to support AVG2012 though, right? Possibly next update?

Thanks for the help ;)

I don't know if it will be updated to support AVG 2012 in the next version of CCleaner or not, however it will eventually be supported, I'd think. CCleaner 3.10 was just released on 25 August 2011, and is basically on an every month update cycle it shouldn't be long to find out if it will support AVG 2012.
