CCcleaner free version being flagged as PUA:Win32/PiriformBundler [solved]

Need to create installer that doesn't include a bundler of other applications to allow install to work and not get flagged as PUA:Win32/Piriform/Bundler.

Here is link to MS Defender report on why product will be flagged as PUA installer.

I believe that Microsoft have already been contacted by Piriform about this.

I located the Slim Down version installer, that one works without any issues. In case anyone else needs that installer you can locate the download here: https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds Scroll down till you find CCleaner - Slim installer.

... they have also been contacted suggesting that their screenshotting of offers that have not existed anywhere since September 2019 is probably not a great look for their malware encyclopedia ?

By way of update, Microsoft has actioned the false positive report and the flagging has been removed. Note that you may need to update your Defender virus definitions file if you are still on a signature file version prior to 1.329.501.0

Note that Windows Defender has been fine with the CCleaner free installer from version 5.70 and up, and has not had any issues with CCleaner itself.
