Am I the only one who hates the direction that CC Cleaner went? Why can’t you just leave good enough alone. The only thing I am interested in is something that cleans up temp files, windows bloat, stops programs from starting, and cleans the registry from all the install, and uninstall I do. I don’t need something that “updates software” or “puts to sleep programs”- which makes them not work or update by the way. Also I don’t need software running constantly with my computer. I like to use it and shut it off, without it running in the background. It won’t even get rid of windows bloat software like edge, like it use too. It no longer lists all the start up programs. I have more under the windows task manager then in the software. This has become one of those “annoyance” programs that you originally got rid of, off our computers. Now I need to go find a more simple software, or just use windows. I will not be renewing my subscription.
Hello.
That’s right, that’s why I’ve always used it, because it was much easier and more intuitive than the “tools” that come with Windows.
I created a thread because they removed “System Restore.” That menu/submenu doesn’t appear.
Best regards.
Too bad “new” does not equate to “improved” . I hope CC developers will add option to 7 to make it look and feel like 6.39 and do everything 6.39 does. Please??
I emphatically agree. This is a ridiculous downgrade of an “upgrade” to CCleaner 7. No control, and the GUI assumes that the user needs a ‘simpler’, watered-down version of their previous software applications.
If there was an advanced version I’d probably be fine, but there isn’t and CCleaner no longer is presuming competency in their users. This is not a good software application anymore.
Hopefully CCleaner is paying attention to threads and comments about this!
