Ccleaner 7 isn’t working properly in my Windows 11. Scanning stops at 38%.
After restarting the app, nothing works anymore - even the menu disappears.
@Laurence_CCleaner it sounds like when the service gets hung up (during health check) it fails and results in the second screen, that’s about as far as we here can troubleshoot it as health check doesn’t show water process it’s breaking on. Is there a debug function in 7?
I do note that it’s sticking in resolve issues maybe @KurtRolson can tell us, what programs they had in turn off startup and outdated apps. I’m not willing to run that clean (It’s dangerous and was dangerous in ccleaner 6) so I won’t be recreating Kurt’s service crash.
Kurt, if after you end the app, before you restart it, open windows services (Win+R and type services.msc) and tell us is the ccleaner service stopped?
CC v7 is not working correctly on Windows 10 Pro either. The default settings for Custom Clean corrupted various system files on my W10 OS.
I had to uninstall CC7 and run an old Restore Point to fix my PC. I uninstalled CC v7, and I am terribly angry that CC Inc had the nerve to renew my subscription at $39.99 FOR ONE license in September. Nothing like paying a high price for buggy junkware!
My license expires in November, the price is the same, so if they don’t fix it within a few days, I’ll also resign.
