CCleaner links (shown below) at main window are not working.

When click on, nothing happens.
Also, links on email from http://forum.piriform.com/index.php not working.
Just started in last few days.
No problem opening CCleaner.com directly with browser.
Tried remove/re-install of CCleaner, no luck.
Where to look for fix ?
ccleaner.dot com uses redirection, maybe redirection is turned of in you browser?
Sometimes I click on a link and Windows disobeys me,
and when I examine the properties of the file I wanted to use I am told it came from another computer (because I downloaded it).
I then have to toggle an option box to indicate that I trust it.
Then my click is obeyed.

Well, at least CC still notifies me when an update is available... so I just go to the CC 'version history' page and download from there.
But still no connection from 'check for updates'.
Not sure where to look for 'redirection'... IE 'tools' ?

I think option boxes appear sometimes as such,
but most often what I had to do was hit a button called UNBLOCK.

there is a protection on files coming from other computer
immediately below is an image showing the properties of a downloaded file
and that shows a "security" section with the button "Unblock".
This security section only appears when a Block is in force.

if by this you mean hyperlinks in your email aren't working, this is usually due to Internet Explorer not being set as the default web browser.
it would be effecting all email hyperlinks, not sure if it effects links within programs, never tried that one before !.
