CC hangs up when deleting History files

When deleting "History" files, CC hangs. If I uncheck "History" and run the cleaner no problem but if "History" is included, it hangs up during cleaning.

Which operating system are you using?

Using XP-SP3 version 2.27 Keep getting Visual C++ runtime error message, re-installed v2.26, that is working OK
