Can't Remove Site Icons from Start Page

I love the new CCleaner Browse BUT...I can't seem to get rid of the icons on the default start page. I've looked through all the settings and seem to be missing something. This should be very easy. Attached is a screen shot of my CC browser start page. All I want is the weather and the search bar on the start page.

You can alter this functionality by going to Menu > Settings > Advanced > Sponsored Content, or secure://settings/sponsored directly, and unselecting "Allow sponsored content to be displayed".

@johnccleaner Sorry... did not work. I had already had that turned off. Something seems to be broken.

@johnccleaner Thanks, have been going back and forth with Seven at Support. Nothing getting resolved so far. :(
