i just installed the new recuva version 1.44 on a windows 8 computer. Before i installed windows8 i wasnt aware that my jpg, one note and adobe illustrator/photoshop files wasnt backed up. so i installed recuva and it dug them up, when i recover a file it opens up blank,when i try to open it up in adobe illustrator i get a message that says "unknown format". can anyone help?
Ther are a few free file openers that can help with this problem; i could guess that 1 or two of them are here on this site; That was how I looked at the ones that I could go figure what was what did help good luck it is agreat recover tool
