After I go through all the steps on the Heath Check, the last page says I have 11 programs that need updating. But when I click on resolve the program shuts down and I get a Windows box with a restart, shut down, etc. pull-down.
Try doing the updates one by one to see which one is causing the problem.
You may want to use Software Updater to do that rather than doing it through Health Check.
Once you have identified the problem app then you can see if it has it's own 'Check for Updates' or update it from its webpage.
