Does anyone know why the portable build of Speccy v1.32 (spsetup132.zip) is not posted on the builds page at https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy/builds? Has Avast stopped offering the portable build or are the links on the builds page currently missing?

See here, we are still waiting for it to be fixed. Applies to <strong>Speccy, Recuva and Defraggler</strong>.

Hi hazelnut:
Thanks for the heads up. It's concerning, though, that Avast/Piriform has known since 10-Oct-2019 that the download links to the Slim and Portable versions of these three utilities are broken and still haven't fixed them. When I'm helping someone troubleshoot a problem and ask them to publish a Speccy snapshot of their system, running Speccy Portable from a USB thumb drive is sometimes their only viable option.
Could someone from someone Avast / Piriform please provide a status update. Dave CCleaner's <strong>22-Oct-2019</strong> post <<a href="<___base_url___>/topic/55711-download-link-for-the-portable-version-is-downloading-the-setup-version/?do=findComment&comment=311645" rel="">here</a>> in the the Defraggler board said the broken download links to Portable and Slim builds of Speccy/Defraggler/Recuva would be "<strong><em>reestablished shortly</em></strong>".

Would appreciate if someone from Avast / Piriform could provide a status update on when the Slim and Portable builds of Speccy will be re-posted at https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy/builds.

Are there any plans to post a Portable build of Speccy on the builds page at https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy/builds now that Speccy v1.33.079 as been released on 12-Jun-2024 with an updated hardware library?
my oldest Speccy Portable is from November 2010 - Version 1.7.0.205
I wanted to get the newest one today. So I downloaded the latest Version 1.33.0.79 the .exe file, unpacked it to the directory spsetup133 with the help of an installed 7-Zip and started the Speccy64.exe in that folder. That's the perfect portable Speccy.

Hi Entpackender:
Thanks for your suggestion, but I would still like to know if Avast / Piriform is planning to post a Speccy Portable v1.33 build (spsetup133.zip) on the official download page at https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy/builds. Unfortunately, your workaround isn't always practical if I'm troubleshooting in a user forum and would like someone with limited technical expertise to run Speccy Portable from a removable USB stick and publish a Speccy snapshot so I can see their system components. In some cases installing the standard Speccy app on the hard drive of a glitchy computer using the full .exe installer isn't always the best option.
That being said, I followed your instructions to update my Speccy Portable executable Speccy64.exe to the latest version (NOTE: the version listed in the Portable interface shown below is v1.33.075, not v1.33.079). Unfortunately, the latest Speccy v1.33 still can't read the S.M.A.R.T. attributes of the Toshiba NVMe SSD in my 5-year-old Dell Inspiron 5584 (see ZloboMiR's 19-Feb-2020 topic No SSD NVM Info about this shortcoming in the previous Speccy v1.32).
At first glance I also can't see any obvious difference in snapshots I created today with the previous Speccy Portable v1.32.740 (<a href="http://speccy.piriform.com/results/n6s3tVh6d7dKOtSemq3Kn23" rel="external nofollow">http://speccy.piriform.com/results/n6s3tVh6d7dKOtSemq3Kn23</a>) and my "modified" Speccy Portable v1.33.075 (<a href="http://speccy.piriform.com/results/n5A0wewR6uSSbD5IOCvWhwC" rel="external nofollow">http://speccy.piriform.com/results/n5A0wewR6uSSbD5IOCvWhwC</a>) so I'm not really certain at this point that the updates that Avast / Piriform just made to the Speccy hardware library in June 2024 would actually be detected by my "modified" Speccy Portable v1.33. I don't have a computer with a newer Intel CPU, NVIDIA graphics card, etc. for testing so at this point I don't know if you need all the updated .DLL files included with the standard (installed) build of Speccy v1.33 in order for it to detect the "latest and greatest" hardware components correctly.
