Can't delete cookies on XP Pro

When I run CCleaner on my XP Pro laptop it says that it removed all cookies but if I go into options/Cookies it's still showing a long list of cookies to delete. Is this a known issue or is there a way around this as I would really like to clean up this list of cookies. Note that since it's XP I'm running IE8 and my version of CCleaner is either the current version or one back as I try to keep it up to date at all times.

If you click once on one of these cookies to highlight it and then look to the bottom left of the column what icon shows for the cookie? IE or a red F for flash?

If it's a flash cookie make sure that you have adobe flash player ticked under the ccleaner applications list.

Also when you open the ccleaner program look to the top left it says your system specs and ccleaner version number.

As a visual aid to the Cookie Identifier

Thank you for the assistance. The icon for all of the cookies was Google Chrome. I verified that the Chrome cookies checkbox was un-checked so I checked it and CCleaner worked this time.

Glad to hear is all is sorted for you now.

Welcome to the forum by the way :)
