Can't clean registry

I used to use the free CCleaner, it always worked fine for me, but lately there have been 6 registry entries that I cannot remove. My Norton and Spybot do not pick up these registry entries, but they haven't always been there, and CCleaner USED to remove everything there. When I jump to the location to remove the items and try to remove them manually, it says Error while deleting. Any ideas what's going on?

Looks like Norton is protecting itself by stopping its keys from being deleted.

It's just doing its job as as your AV.

After all, if you could delete its keys so could malware :)

If you still have Norton installed do the following:

1. Scan the registry using CCleaner.

2. When those Norton registry items appear: Right click them in the registry cleaner window and select Exclude.
