When I try to merge a previous backup I receive the following error message: Cannot access the registry. How can I otherwise recover a prior backup?

Open Regedit.exe choose file import
Course if you need more help, you need to tell us something. . . such as what operating system (windows version) you are using, if vista/win7 is UAC turned on?
