Ran Ccleaner (free) in the morning and that afternoon went to uninstall a program using Ccleaner… But Ccleaner will no longer open… uninstalled and could not install the new version 6 nor the 7… Installed an older version and that installed fine but still would not open… Never had trouble with this software before…
Have you done a full restart (not shutdown) of your machine after uninstalling all ccleaner products?
Then try first with 6.39
When I reinstalled the program, It was as far as I can remember, v6… But that still failed… So I tried an old version 6.35 and it installed but also would not open… Tried the v6.39 and it installed and ran scans fine. I rebooted with restart and tried Ccleaner again and it fails to open… I almost think Windows is not allowing it to function… I did have at least 4-5 window updates in the last 5 days… Ccleaner started to fail 4 days ago…
same problem here. regardless of how i open Even as Admin produces a blank CCleaner screen
In the mean time just click on the blank screen and it should open a 2nd screen. This is what I have to do.
