Cannot get past the choose your theme screen, no minimize nor close off button

I have tried to tab through past this window, and it does absolutely nothing. I cannot minimize or close it.

I have tried end task, restarting my computer, running it as administrator, uninstalled it and searched for remnants as per the cc cleaner chatbot instructions, reinstalling it several times, I keep getting the same problem with the exact same screen. I am at a complete loss as to what to do.

Cc cleaner was prompting me to download the newest version of the program, and now I can’t get it to work.

I have windows 11 on a desktop.

I have just reinstalled CCleaner 7 (on a Win 10 laptop) and I see a slightly different screen:

It’s possible that in your case the ‘Lets start’ button is off the bottom of the window.

Go into Windows Settings and set the display scale to 100%.
Run CCleaner 7 and get past the Welcome Screens.
Set your display scale back to what it was.

Alternatively try using the Standard online installer from the builds page (that’s the one that I just used):
Download the installer and double click on it.

That worked! yes it was on the bottom and I could not move the page to get to the bottom without rescaling the screen.

I had to go into settings for my taskbar and activate autohide to see it (barely) enough to click it.
