Can I selectively delete the contents of Index.dat files?

I apologize in advance if this has been addressed before, but after searching I haven't found an answer.

It appears that CCleaner takes an "all or nothing" approach to cleaning Index.dat files. I would like to pick and choose what to delete from Index.dat files on a line-by-line basis. Is this possible?

Not with CCleaner, no. Sorry :(

check out some of the programs from nirsoft.net they may give you the granular control you asj for.

Thanks for the quick responses. I've found many apps with this functionality, but I'm not all that confident that they're as spyware/malware free as Piriform's products.

Nirsoft definitly is safe 100%
