Can Ccleaner delete parts of installed games on the pc?

I play championship manager 01/02 and I used the Ccleaner tool to clean up my pc the other day. The game is located in something called virtual clone drive, and I forgot to uncheck the "virtual clone drive" box in ccleaner before I cleaned up the PC. I read this thread some time ago, and am wondering if some game files can be deleted in the process of cleaning. My saved game file was completely fine however, and I haven't noticed anything wrong yet.

cheers.

That shouldn't cause any problems. That Cleaning Rule applies only to the "VirtualCloneDrive" software by Elaborate Bytes; if you're not using that software, it shouldn't even show up, but even if so, it only deletes the Least Recently Used (LRU) cache.

This wouldn't have any impact on virtual drives themselves, though, or any data in them, just a cache used by the clone drive software itself.

Only if you deliberately remove the game from the tools menu will CCleaner damage your game files.
