Calling Home

When I start CCleaner, I get a notice from my firewall that CCleaner is trying to contact an IP address. It's pretty persistent. If I deny the request, it make three or four more attempts before it gives up. I believe that it even tries different IP addresses before it gives up. Does anybody know who it's calling, and why? Is the program sending any information about me or my machine?

Thanks,

LEM
