Bug Report: Latest Version of CCleaner Pro for Windows Reboots unexpectedly when trying to clean/run a Heath Check

The latest version of CCleaner Pro reboots my Window 11 PC on every I attempt to run a Health Check or anything manually too. It flashes a screen for a split second that “Something Went Wrong, Rebooting Now” and reboots without any ability to stop or postpone the reboot. Anyone else having this issue? I found that on a Google search, CCleaner’s support email was support@ccleaner.com. But when I try to send an email to that address, it comes back saying that email address is NOT MONITERED?? WTF? Suggestions anyone. I am a 20 year experienced MCSE in the IT industry. I have found that a product is only as good as its support. I’m actually a big fan of CCleaner and have recommended it to many of my clients in the past. But I’ve never had any issues with it that I couldn’t figure out using the Microsoft OS system logs. This version put nothing in the Microsoft logs. So I’m lost as to what error it is struggling with or who knows what else it may be at this point. Yes, I already un-installed it and re-installed it, so don’t go there. all other suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance..

At what point during Health Check does the reboot occur? does the same happen if you use custom clean? As a more technical person, who has used ccleaner for a long time, I would think you’d find better usage with custom, but that is neither here or there.

Does it reboot, as you said, or crash the system?

Yes, very familiar with OS and so many applications other than just Microsoft. Reboot occurs about somewhere near 80% on a health scan. If I manually do each scan, it occurs actually just worked without a reboot. I have no clue why nor have I changed anything yet. But it no longer reboots without warning. I would assume that CCleaner or Microsoft or something else automatically updated itself. So this reboot issue is during the past few weeks is no longer an issue that needs to be resolved. It will be just another IT mystery that we’ll never know what actually fixed it. That’s not all that uncommon. Good to go now it seems.

Is it a Dell computer?

There was a System issue with this months Windows Updates and some Dell computers that MS have now patched, so that may have been what you were seeing.

Possibly. I have a new Lenovo gaming PC and with Windows 11 which does go out and get updates which could have resolved the issue during the past few weeks.
