Browsers remember my Google account

Hi!

Why do browsers remember my Gmail username? If CCleaner is set to "monitor and automatically clean on closing" it shouldn't happen, right?

Gmail = Google.

Google grabs as much as it can about you and stores it on their own servers.

CCleaner can clear out files on your machine, but not stuff that has already been grabbed and stored elsewhere.

(Makes me laugh when I see people moan that Windows 10 might be collecting too much info about them; but are quite happy to let Google, Faceache,etc. take whatever they want.)

Which browsers, what do/don't you have checked off in that/those browser(s) sections in ccleaner?

here the ccleaner-doc-link how nergal says:

changing monitoring settings ccleaner free

Note: When automatic monitoring and cleaning is selected, CCleaner will use the settings in the Cleaner section to clean your PC.

It happens in IExplorer, Edge, Chrome and Opera.
