Hi all, I'm hoping for some pointers on rebuilding an .MOV file.
Long story short... I cycle using a helmet camera (Drift HD Stealth) and had a crash. The camera ended up 6 feet down the road and the card was ejected. I'd like to see if any insights could be gleamed so would like to restore.
Here's what I've done so far with Recuva:
Scan files - nothing related found
Scan Content - used * for search string. Found more but still not desired file.
My expectation is that when recording the file is saved with an unknown extension, when the max size is reached (or recording stopped) it is then concatenated and saved as an .MOV.
So I don't know the actual temp file format or extension. I'm hoping I could find the 'raw' file(s) and then concatenate and add the required header and footer. (hopefully the header in the MOV doesn't contain the number of bytes... I haven't researched that yet.
Suggestions??
Thanks in advance!
