Try to do a minimum of 3 songs, & only your very favorite ones, please!

AC/DC - TNT

I liked the cover of TNT done by Six Feet Under on their Graveyard Classics album, heavy s***. ;)

1.

Artist: Warrel Dane

Song: This Old Man

Album: Praises To The War Machine (2008)

Some of the best stuff I've ever heard by him in on this solo album, the whole album is good!

2.

Artist: Devin Townsend

Song: Planet Smasher

Album: Ziltoid The Omniscient (2007)

The whole album is good "storytelling metal." Devin is a musical genius!

3.

Artist: Annihilator

A good old song about food - macaroni and cheese. They also had another cool food song on another album titled Chicken And Corn. Mmm, hungry now!

I can keep going forever and not stop but I basically like Technical Death Metal, Progressive Metal, Post-Progressive Metal, Technical Math Metal, Experimental Metal and other sorts of Metal.

I like Dubstep, Ambient, Down-tempo, Progressive Trance, Psychedelic Trance, etc. so you can imagine.

Post-Rock, Grunge-Rock, etc.

I have nearly 500 CD singles and albums in my collection so its safe to say I have a love for music and most genres except opera and country music.

As for songs I have too many to choose from however I’ll list a few of my all time favourites as well as some comments:

Trance / Dance:

Armin Van Buuren Feat. Ray Wilson - Yet Another Day

Stuff by Above and beyond and Andy Moor

Armin and AAB are probably the best trance / acts of current they also have their own radio shows via di.fm on certain days. :)

Citizen Caned - The Journey (Citizen Caned aka Darren Tate aka DT8 Project aka Jurgen Vries)

Darren Tate the man with so many aliases but one of my favourite UK musicians / DJs.

Tiesto - Urban Train

DJ Sammy - Sunlight

Paul Van Dyk (feat. Jan Johnston) - Nothing But You

Alt + F4 - Alt + F4 (amusing title I wonder where they got their inspiration from ?? lol)

Salt Tank - Eugina (album version) a chill-out tune, sadly the rest of the album was rather poor.

R&B / Pop:

Tupac - Hit Em Up (probably the most sick and vile piece of rap music ever made but still it has amusing value though.)

N.W.A. - 100 Miles And Runnin'

Lil' Kim ft Sisqo - How Many Licks (dirty lyrics and fyi it's a song about blow up dolls.)

Mary J Blige - No More Drama

One of the most moving piece of music I’ve heard for a while her performance on Jools Holland show is worth a look into.

P!nk - U + Ur Hand / Who Knew

Pink is my favourite female vocalist of all time she has style and a super power voice that blows the likes of Britney Spears and Christina Aguliera away.

Rock / Heavy Metal:

Pink Floyd - Marooned (my favoruite guitar music of all time along next to Cavatina.)

Queen - innuendo

Queen rule rock music but for some reason this tune was never included in their DVD video collection.

Onerepublic - Stop and Stare

Muse - Dead Star (Muse pwns.)

Metallica - No Left Clover

I never was really into Metallica until I bought a VideoCD of their live performance S&M concert featuring a symphony orchestra.

Strange as it may sound but heavy metal and classical music does seem to compliment each other.

Weird / disturbing music videos:

Genesis - Jesus He Knows Me (a hilarious video poking fun at American TV evangelists and what they stand for)

Future Sound of London - We Have Explosive (visual trippy trippy)

Marilyn Manson - Tainted Love Lyrics (so awful it’s actually good)

Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up (drugs, sex, beating people up surprisingly this video never got banned lol)

Tool - Stinkfist

Soft Cell - Sex Dwarf (original banned video)

Music / videos that should be banned:

Fast Food Rockers - Fast Food Song

LAS Ketchup - The Ketchup Song

El Chombo - Chacarron (the most retarded singing ever)

Karel Fialka - Hey Matthew (anyone remember this??)

Rotterdam Termination Source - Poing

Black Lace - Agadoo

Mmmbop - Hanson

Hanson singing of English was so bad I actually thought they were a German band trying to sound American reason being I first saw them on Viva which was a German TV channel on Hotbird 13E.

Rebecca Black - Friday (need I explain why??)

anything by Justin Bieber

anything by Arron Carter

everything by Steps

everything by S club 7

Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love (I hate bleeding love, her second song was better though)

Mr Blobby (evil)

Teletubbies - it’s sad but this was #1 in the UK charts I blame the parents myself.

Richard S.

I have nearly 500 CD singles and albums in my collection

The last time I physically counted my commercial music CD purchases which was about 11 years ago it was just above 2000, I've since then gave up counting them and it's probably double that number by now.

Most of my burned collection are of dead white men. But that's nothing new. (Matter of fact, none of it is.)

But I also got Tull, Steely Dan, Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Eno, Laraaji, Naajma, blah blah.

I just heard a local radio station is supposed to announce on Monday that GNR is coming to Atlanta in November! Cant Wait!

I got my tickets! So excited.

What did ya think of the gig? I see they added Civil war to the setlist as well as Estranged. Hope they get their asses back to Norway soon!

Artist: Wintersun

Song: Battle Against Time

That or anything from Wintersun.

Artist: Lonely Island

Song: I Just Had Sex

Any of their songs. :D

Artist: Tenacious D

Song: Classico

Also any song from Tenacious D.

I mostly listen to metal & rock, but also some "parody/comedy" music. :D

Or just listen to

24/7 loop.

While I have a pretty large collection of music that I love dearly, I do have some favorites for some reason or another

(Not in any specific order!)

(Also, my music taste flows between genres, so the songs in this list vary quite a bit!)

by Evelyn Evelyn

by Eisley

Jessica by The Allman Brothers

by The Astroids Galaxy Tour

Catgroove by Parov Stelar

by Streetlight Manifesto

Fossil Genera: A Feed From Cloud Mountain by Between The Buried And Me

by Green Day

by Harvey Danger

by Kate Nash (Some of us over the pond have heard of her! )

by The Last Goodnight

by Mae

by Vampire Weekend

by The Edgar Winter Group

The entire album

by Pink Floyd (It's practically all one song, but I especially like 'another brick in the wall pt 2 as it pertains to the film and life in general.)

Ah.. I could go on but I'm getting tired of linking things to YouTube!

Well, if this is for songs, I can't be included lol. Only listen to soundtracks here. ;)

I'm sure no one would mind Ice. I listen to soundtracks too.

If only I: - Jon McLaughlin

Heart of Courage - Two Steps From Hell

Protectors Of The Earth - Two Steps From Hell

Soundtracks you say?

by Javier Navarette (Pan's Labyrinth)

by Javier Navarette (Pan's Labyrinth)

by Javier Navarette (I can play this one on the piano! I taught myself by ear :)) (Pan's Labyrinth)

by Yuki Kajiura (.HACK//SIGN)

by Yuki Kaijura (.HACK//SIGN)

by Lustra (Eurotrip)

A lot of the songs I have have been used in movies/shows, but weren't specifically composed for that purpose. (Such as Wooly Muffler by Harvey Danger - used in Dude, Where's My Car?, and so on)
