ehem.... NOD32
The interface isn't all that great, but I love it. Low on system resources too. But you do have to pay for it. Did you say you were looking for a free av?
Read my first post. Microsoft is offering it for one year for free. Click on link.

agumon got his screenshot right.
Just click on the active Window, rridgely; then press (and hold) Alt and press PrtScrn. It captures the active window only instead of the full screen.

It's okay, learning is half the fun! (But that tip should make it easier for you now!)
Thats true, no more paint for me .
Side note: the reason Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition is so great is that it wasn't made by Norton/Symantec
It's actually Intel LANdesk Virus Protect with a new skin.

Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition is really great... i highly recommend it..
So, LEEnoble what AV have you decided to go with?
I think I'm going to go for Avast!
I was looking at the 12 month free trial one on the Microsoft site but I want a freeware AntiVirus product so Avast! it is.
Thanks for your input guys.
What about ClamWin Antivirus?

AntiVir is the way to go.
Been using AVG for the past year or so. since i scrapped Norton.
Jut downloaded Avast a couple days ago, and didn't like it too much... May consider going back to it though. hate the 1 year re-register thing though.
Neither!
Avast even though is free, needs a subscription. It contains ugly skin that makes it harder to use and takes up more resources on the computer.
Use AntiVir from http://www.free-av.com/
A free (as in beer) anti virus scanner. Works on Windows, Linux, BSD, Solaris. Does not contain any big bloated interface with skins. Does not eat up all your processor power or memory. Simple and great.

If you had read this post then you would see he has already made his decision.
Now please stop bashing other programs, which you seem to be very fond of here.
