It would be nice if there was an option to auto-clean files every n or n/2 hours.
Hello and welcome to the forum
A scheduler has been asked for numerous times before. Many members like my self have said we would rather not add bloat to ccleaner when the option is already made available to you in windows.
Saying that only the devs can answer if the feature will ever be implemented
For more information setting up a task see links below.

there's really no need to clean that often and has the possiblity of giving your drive a early death. if you are wanting to do this because of internet tracks then perhap ieprivacykeeper may be a better fit.

A really stupid idea, which would be called far worse by any-one that suffers the consequences.
Applications create temporary junk files which need to be cleaned,
BUT THEY ARE NEEDED WHEN THE APPLICATION IS RUNNING,
and DING DING DING - TIME TO CLEAN ! ! ! ! ! ! - OOPS
Suddenly lose all the morning's work on a spreadsheet etc. - not nice.
Suddenly corrupt an application that was running - and will have to be re-installed * * * * * * * *
Software installations and updates can also use temporary files that should NOT be trashed before completion.
Microsoft Security Patch Tuesday updates - I do not know but would love see the consequences, but not on my P.C.
Portable Applications - some were never intended to be portable, and have been converted with
a PRE stage that copies relevant registry keys etc. to temporary file(s), and
a POST stage that copies the the information back.
A resounding no thank you
Alan
A really stupid idea
And a really unpleasant and uncalled for response to a new member.
Would it have been so hard to say "I don't think this is a good idea because .." ?

I am sorry I was harsh, but the potential consequences cause me great concern.
