Hi,
Please, please, please is it possible to create an option to allow CCleaner to clean up at 'every exit' of ie/chrome/firefox etc... This would complete a very useful and competent software...
Thanks

TopCat wants to auto clean when ever a browser closes. It would be difficult since these browsers dont have a command line option to execute something on exit. The alternative would be for CC to always be running and monitoring applications start and close events. I dont think we will see such a feature. But nice thought.
Create a cmd file called BrowseClean.cmd on the Desktop
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"cd\ "C:\Program Files\CCleaner\CCleaner.exe" /AUTO
I would rather run CCleaner where I could see what it was doing.

Strange... How is it Tracks Eraser Pro were able to manage it - 'erase after browser shutdown'..? http://www.acesoft.net/
Always running in the background monitoring browsers activity/shutdown event id's. Why is that strange?
Yeah me am in agreement; not a part of ccleaners mission to have it auto delete at close of browser. Check out ie privacy keeper from http://www.browsertools.net/ it's what I use (works in ie and ff2 not in chrome unsure about ff3 (I do that meself with ff3))
$39.95 to buy is too expensive for me.Yeah me am in agreement; not a part of ccleaners mission to have it auto delete at close of browser. Check out ie privacy keeper from http://www.browsertools.net/ it's what I use (works in ie and ff2 not in chrome unsure about ff3 (I do that meself with ff3))
I have WinPatrol that fills the bill for me thanks to Bill P. and Windows Defender that adds a bit more protection.
Hold up... It was never intended as an argument... I was simply saying that it would make an excellent piece of software even better if it would clean up after browsing automatically, why is that a bad idea..?
Nothing wrong with making suggestions and requests.
