Hi, i am a newbie in forum and just bought recuva to solve a loss of audiofiles on a 8 gb sd card.
I had made recordings on a zoom h4n in wav format that disappeared just when i was to copy the files to my computer for editing.
The recordings were 4 tracks that generates two stereofiles (line and microphone). The two stereofiles always get the same length and size. Filesizes on the related pairs were from about 90 mb to 800 mb.
I googled and tried about 10 different recovery sw that did not do the job. Recuva found them with no hassle, the expected sizes and numbers appeared, and could be restored, even with the free version.
The only problem was that something strange had happened to the files. The soundtracks seem to be mixed systematicly with 2 seconds with repeating sound from the two different sources. First 2 seconds from line signal and then 2 seconds of the same part from the microphone. All the tracks are this way through the whole playing time and will be a terrible job to fix manually. It also seems like there is recording time missing at the end of the files. Soundquality are otherwise as expected.
When i discovered this i bought the pro version, hoping it would have more possibilities, but it did the same thing. Are there anything i should try?
