Armed cops in Lara Croft bust action

Wish I could have seen this:

Those of you thinking of firing up Tomb Raider this morning should be aware that Lara Croft is currently unavailable - a guest of Manchester's Boys in Blue after armed officers cornered the gun-toting minx in a suburban living room.

Full article:

They really do have too much time on their hands don't they: "He's now been bailed on firearms offences"

How can they bail him on firearms offences when there are absolutely no firearms?!?!

Imagine the scene in court:

Prosecution: "The prosecution would like to submit our key piece of evidence in this firearms case"

Judge: "What is that? It looks like a piece of cardboard"

Prosecution: "Yes indeed m'lord. But a piece of cardboard IN THE SHAPE OF A GUN!!!"

With a full size Lara Croft in his room, maybe they thought he had a gun in his pocket.

I hope he gets Lara back, then he is sure to get a fine price for her on E-bay.

And another episode of Keystone Cops.

As gunfights go, it was something of an unequal contest.

On one side were dozens of armed police officers assisted by dogs, with helicopters hovering over head.

On the other were two teenage girls in cowboy outfits, with one toy gun between them.

Absolutely amazing. That must have been scary.

Did anyone read the comments underneath the article?

One of them says :

We get stories like this all the time here in the US, except sometimes the police will have fired 30 or 41 or 50 shots first before they realize their mistake.
