What's a/m?

Hi Eli,

I think it may help if you review the contents of the winapp.ini file at C:\Program Files\CCleaner.

This will help answer some of your questions.

Also this link may help if there are other areas you might want to clean.

P.S. You might want to run the Cleaner function and just use the Analyze button.

You should also check off the options and uncheck the options to get an idea what each is going to clean .I would also check the boxes at Options > Advanced to show the detailed logs of IE and Firefox/Mozilla.Also review the Cookies list at Options > Cookies.

a/m= above mentioned

MRU's will be deleted (from the registry). And maybe some .log (ETC) files. Result is less unneeded files in your hard drive and clean MRU list(s).

Edit: For 'Sun Java' it deletes cache files (cached Java files), from this location: C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache.

Temp Cookies dat History MRUs URLs see the list run & have a look ok clean if you see Windows up Date dont clean for a few days so it can fit fist [ 12 feb 08 dont clean ] clean on the monday or sunday.:rolleyes:
