App is slow/not responsive

I just installed Kamo. And the app is not very responsive. I will click on a button and nothing will happen. I close the app and restart it. And when I restarts, it is on the page of the button that I had clicked before closing the app. Any suggestions?

Hi @cbormson This problem should be resolved in v2.0 of Kamo.

First, please uninstall the existing version of Kamo, using these steps:

  1. Open the "Run" dialog in Windows (On the keyboard, hold the Windows (?name=Windows+Logo.png) and "R" keys simultaneously)
  2. Type: appwiz.cpl > click OK
  3. Right-click Kamo > click "Uninstall"

Afterwards, please download/install v2.0 of Kamo from here:

Following the installation of the new version, and when prompted, please restart the computer.

Kamo is often 'hung', so the cursor is not able to do anything. this happens on both my laptop and my PC. it then prevents the laptop and PC from shutting down everyday. is there a fix for this?

Hi @pezinbristol Concerning the shutdown issue, this has been resolved in the new version of Kamo we released yesterday, v2.2.

To install this new version, simply open Kamo > click Menu > SETTINGS > UPDATE NOW.

Otherwise we are not aware of any issues that was cause Kamo to frequently hang in the way you've described.
