These sites suggest maybe its an issue with an older processor.
mmmmh, perhaps. on my fresh installed xpsp3 is not a 64bit amd, but a athlon 2000+.
the other one with xpsp3 has an athlon 3200+ 64bit (iron runs on this, qupzilla i dont have tried it yet on this system...)

i have it now and it works fine on this xp.
That is good news.
From that MBAM link in post 20, it appears that some files had to be added to get MBAM to run on the "older" system.
Just wondering, what would happen if you installed the fix, then MBAM, THEN tried Qupzilla?
That is a lot of tinkering, and there is no real reason to think it would make Qupzilla work, but just wondering.
