Any one having trouble finding Google

Off and on over the last couple of weeks I've been totally unable to find google servers. For my home page or anything else.

10 mins ago same thing, now I can find them ok. Anyone else finding this?

no problems here

No problems here either. Although I've had to stop using the free image host called ImgJax.com which I had only recently started using because Firefox can't find the site anymore and hasn't been able to for several days.

I also noticed the imgjax problem, good job we've still got screenshots.cc (at least for now.)

Dennis, who is your internet provider?

Yep, same probs with Imgjax. Strange.

I know you guys have Screenshots, but if that ever lets you down, I've found another couple of nice sites. Tried them without flashblock or HOSTS, and you can register if you wish.

I'm using TalkTalk, which I find great. Now don't ask me to explain this, but since I fixed my CD/DVD drive, my connections are back to normal.

Yesterday, I was having a hell of a job connecting anywhere. I managed to log onto here eventually, but then couldn't even log off. Couldn't find Piriform server, and couldn't find any google server most of the day.

Now I'm running and connecting as fast as ever. ;)

It was probably a problem with your ISP. Sometimes releasing and renewing your IP address as this Microsoft article describes can help, then again if it's your ISP that's having a problem that won't work.

Edit: Forgot to mention, I've cured some connection problems by rebooting my DSL modem.

No hassle with google and for image hosting, I use Image Shack No problems so far...

I've done absolutely nothing but speak to it sternly, and it's working great again, but I've noted your comments and link. Never know when I might need them again.

Thanks for your input Kiwibryn.
