I subscribed for another year. The activation code I received in the email does not match the one in the Android app under My subscription, Activation Code. I cannot enter the activation code I received in the email into the Android app. How can I activate it? Thanks for your help.
If you have received a new licence key then you have purchased a new subscription rather than renewing your old subscription. Did you use a different email address from the last time you purchased?
Unless the auto-renewal on your previous subscription had been cancelled then you may now have 2x CCleaner subscriptions running. (and be paying for both).
You can look up how many subscriptions/licence keys you have by entering your email address(es) in these:
If you want to manage and/or cancel your subscription then there is a webpage for that here: Subscription Management
If you need to look up your Cleverbridge reference then: Customer Support Contact Page
If you need to look up your CCleaner licence key then use this tool: CCleaner.com - License Lookup
On to the CCleaner for Android:
Where did you purchase your CCleaner for Android, ie who did you pay for it?
If you purchased in in the Play Store then it is activated with your Google account and does not have a key. It is Google that you paid for it.
If you purchased a multi-device CCleaner licence (CCleaner Pro Plus or CCleaner Premium) then you can us that liclence key to activate CCleaner Android rather than purchasing it from Google.
From what you say I think that it was the second one, is your CCleaner Android still fully activated with the previous licence key?
If it is then it will not accept another activation code/licence key until the current one has expired.
EDIT.
I though your username rang a bell, You reported 2-months ago back in September that you did already have 2 subscriptions running at that time .
If you have now purchased another subscription then you will now have 3 subscriptions running.
If you want to cancel one or more of them then as advised by @Laurence_CCleaner in that thread in September: YOU NEED TO CONTACT SUPPORT.
All customers MUST now access a ‘Live Chat’ support service.
To start raise a support ticket by using this: Contact Form.
Once you submit the form you will be given a support ticket/ID number onscreen, with a summary of your request. Below that is the button to go straight into the ‘Live Chat’ where a virtual assistant will try to help you.
If the AI can’t help then you will be passed to a real person.
Note - We have been told that you MUST engage with the chat or you may not get a reply to your request form.
Note2 - It appears that the system is currently overloaded. Users are reporting very long waits for the Live Chat to respond.
Hi @VikMcrUK,
Sorry if you have been told your licence is expiring soon. I have checked your account and your licence is valid until late 2026.
I have sent you a DM for more details on this so I can investigate further.
