AIM User name and Password

After running CCleaner, my AIM user ID and password are no longer stored in their respective boxes, when restarting AIM. Can anyone tell me where this info is stored on my PC, so that I may add an exception into CCleaner (Vista)? Thanks.

Hi pivot, and welcome to Piriform.

Logging on to AOL with an AIM Screenname generates three cookies, one of which seems to be the logical candidate in this instance.

Go to CCleaner\Options\Cookies and to make sure I would move any cookies relevant to the site you have logged onto from the "Cookies to delete" window to the "Cookies to keep" window.

You could then maybe remove the less obvious candidates one at a time until the valid one remains, or just keep them all.

Hope that helps.
