After Using Recova

Good Morning.

I need some urgent advice if anyone can help.

Last night I discovered that files and folders were missing from the desktop folder. I believe this happened by running an uninstall exe for software from the desktop.

I used recova to restore the files it could find that had been delted from that directory.

Only problem is that there were a lot of files there and not as many have been recovered. I also need to recover the folders and structure.

Is there a way of doing this?

When I used recova I recovered to the same drive. Will this affect chances of full recovery.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Also. I realise that Recova may not be able to recover the folders / structure. Can anybody suggest anything please?

It is 100% better to recover to another drive such as a usb stick or external drive, in fact it is really a must.
