It would be nice to have a built in index.dat file viewer and file locator. Have both viewer and locator perform on all index.dat files for all users including administrator, default, local service, and network service. This could be used before and after index.dat file cleaning.
I know there are other applications that do this, I use Index.dat Analyzer and IDsuite as suggested in prior posts.
