License key will not activate on ccleaner 7
key is good until april 2026 but will not
activate since update to ccleaner7.
If you are typing your key in then make sure it is correct.
(The other day I tried 3 times before realising that I had been putting a 5 where it should have been a 6).
EDIT- I’ve just done a complete reinstall of CCleaner 7 and now it won’t take my key today.
I suspect a server error so will try again later.
EDIT2 - I waited and tried again and it has now accepted my key.
I bought an extended license for CCleaner 7.
I got a new code but can’t see where to enter it.
@Coldal That screenshot shows that your CCleaner7 is already activated.
It is already activated with a key that is valid unil February 18th 2026 - so there is nowhere to put in another key that it doesn’t need yet.
PS. It also shows that automatic renewal has been turned OFF.
Have you bought a second licence that you don’t need yet?
If so then you can contact support and ask them for a “Licence Merge” which will merge them into one licence key without losing any time remaining on the old one.
I have redacted your screenshot so that nobody can pirate your licence key.
You shouldn’t put things like keys and passwords in plain sight where anyone could steal them.
PS, You also had your full name showing in that screenshot (on the ‘Mail’ tab) so I blanked that too.
