Bonjour.
Google translate:
Hello. I am trying to purchase the Professional version of CCleaner and when paying I receive the following message “your browser does not allow credit card payments, etc.…”. I don’t understand. What is this thing? This is the first time I have been told this when paying. I am using Windows 10 and it is fully up to date!!! Does anyone have a solution or should I look for a competing and less demanding product?
That message says it is your browser that is preventing you using credit cards.
Which browser are you using?
Have the Parental Controls been enabled?
(In that particular browser only, or for Windows in general).
Those can be set to prevent certain users (usually children) from buying things online.
If it has only just starting happening then also check if your browser security has been automatically set to the highest level during an update.
That could also possibly block cards being used.
You could try using a different browser, and/or using PayPal instead of a credit card.
Please let us know how you get on.
That is your choice of course.
However that message does say that it was your browser that blocked the payment, not anything at Cleverbridge or CCleaner that had blocked it.
So your browser may have changed it’s security settings and you may find that it will now block other payments as well.
Browsers do change their own security settings from time to time.
It would still be interesting to know what browser you were using, in case someone else reports somehing similar.
Bon chance.
