A lot of files, so can I save my scan result?

My problem started installing Ubntu on a disk that had a 'spare' primary partition, because of a SSD that runs Windows. Ubuntu went fine but after a few minutes I noticed it had reformatted the whole 1.5 Gig disk with all my recent data. I immediately shut down and installed a new disk to take over the function of datadisk for windows. So the damaged disk did not function until I looked for recovery after labeling it the X-disk. Recovering NTFS information from an EXT-5 disk proved too difficult for me so I reformatted the disk to one 1,5 Gig NTFS disk.

Recuva finds a lot of recoverable information and ik want to take my time to complete the information I restore from my (mediate quality) backups. In this proceidure it is essential not to be obliged do a scan of some 8 hours, before I can start searching for useful stuff. Please tell me the way to restart Recuva from the last search results.

( I hope there is one :( )

Recuva is not restartable. It will always perform a full scan when it runs. Do you mean 1.5 gb, or 1.5 tb?

I ment TB of course. Regrettably I payed for full service. Does anybody know an application that meets my requirements?
