I have a disk that was damaged running windows 7 64 bit. The software says...don't run it on the same computer. I have a windows 7 32 bit desktop. If I take the 64 bit disk over the 32 bit WIN 7 OS, will this work or is the disk storage completely different between the 32 and 64 bit OS versions?
I know for sure that different versions of windows 7 are not compatible, eg. 7 Home Premium and 7 Professional, so it stands to reason that 32bit and 64bit will not be compatible either. Worth a shot though, as if it's not compatible, it will let you know immediately.
