I am using version 2.05.555 it seems as slow as 2.04. 543 I do not have the Start Menu Shortcuts checked and I do not have Desktop Shortcuts checked under the System entry. I am using normal file deletion. I am running Windows XP SP2. I had reverted back to version 1.41.544 and it seemed to run faster during the deletion process. I do not have time trials but it would be no problem visiting a few dozen sites (same sites,pages) and try both versions and time them.

Slow is such a relative term.Are we talking twice as many seconds, minutes,hours.
If you are using the secure delete feature it is going to take awhile.
Some users uncheck Start menu shortcuts and Desktop shortcuts .

Has anyone else had a problem with slow cleaning with this new version? It seems as slow as the previous version.
No it works just as fast as the other versions for me.
