William Swenson
Every time I hit the fix selected issues button, first a window appears asking if I want to back up the registry. For some reason I cannot run down CCleaner is using up so much of the computers memory that I have to back up the registry before I check the issues, so I pick no. But it doesn't matter if I pick yes, no, or cancel, each will get me the error message window 7 - Out of with OK below it. The computer is an older eMachines running ME (yes, I know!) with a Celeron 900, 256 Mb of memory and a measly 27 Mb of hard drive. It's my backup. Acer has been fooling around with my other one in it's repair shop for two CENSORED months.

William Swenson
I cannot even get to the point of removing even one issue. As soon as I click on the fix issues button, the message appears. How would I remove only a few issues, anyway? Wouldn't that involve stopping the scan after it has found only a few issues? Also, that should be 27 GB of hard drive, not Mb. Sorry for the error. fireryone
Use "Scan For Issues",then right click and uncheck all, just check off a few to remove then click "Fix Selected Issues", That is what MikeW is referring to. fireryone
