JDPower 0
Don't think I could pick one album. Only one that comes to mind is Pink Floyds The Wall, think thats mainly down to Comfortably Numb though (my all time fave song). Paradise Lost albums after Draconian Times are even more tame Their last, self titled, album was pretty damn good though.
Moderators Andavari 1 Posted March 20, 2007 Moderators Share Posted March 20, 2007 Their last, self titled, album was pretty damn good though. I'll have to take your word on that. I really gave up on Paradise Lost after the 1997 "One Second" CD, they became too mainstream sounding and mellow for my ears.

I gave up on them with the awful electronic album they released after One Second, but got back into them with the album before last (Symbol Of Life) and their last album was really very good. XPSP2 0
"The Wall", original, not live remake. By the way, which one is Pink. Another day, "High Voltage" AC/DC
Humpty 0
Geez, I think I will have to stop listening to 1080, an old rock and roll station over here.Haven't heard of quite a few listed in this thread! High Tide and Green Grass - Or any Rolling Stones I pick up first, is what I put on in a cd session. Then maybe Pink Floyd - AC/DC - Dr Hook - Credence RollingStone mag 500 greatest albums of all time

Moderators rridgely 0 Posted March 24, 2007 Author Moderators Share Posted March 24, 2007 On that rolling stone link, 4 of the top 10 albums were by the beatles. I doubt there will ever be anyone better than them. I never did really like the beach boys much though. Pet Sounds was a cool album, but it didn't impact me the way the others in that top 10 did. I don't like the clash at all, yuck. Also, who honestly thinks Nevermind is a better album than Born to Run, The Joshua Tree, and most of the others on that list? I would rather be deaf. JAGO 0
I think calling the Beatles as the greatest is kind of a misnomer. It really wasn't that their music was so godly great, but that it was something terrifically new, and there wasn't this great dissension of tastes. But yeah, they're pretty great .
