xxxxsh4d0wxxxx
My step-brother just traded me a RADEON 9200 (PCI) video card for a RADEON 9600 PRO (AGP slot I believe it's called) .. I'm assuming the 9600 is better, just to clarify, is it? Make it more simple.. that story is hard to tell what I got, lol I gave him the 9200, he gave the the 9600. Moderators rridgely Posted March 12, 2007 Moderators Share Posted March 12, 2007 AGP is faster then pci. But the 9600 is a newer card than the 9200 obviously so its going to be faster.

fireryone
COD2 requirements: ? Pentium IV 1.4GHz or AMD Athlon XP 1700+ processor or higher ? 256MB RAM (512MB RAM recommended) ? 3d Hardware Accelerator Card Required ? 100% DirectX 9.0C compatible 64MB REVIEW TEST system:Page with Review and COD2 requirments ? Pentium IV 3.0GHz (Northwood Core) ? 1GB Kingston V.R ? Sapphire ATI Radeon 9800PRO 128mb How does your system compare? How well did it play on the 9200? You may just have to tweak the in-game options to some lower levels. Make sure you system is using the 9600 and not an on-board (motherboard) chip. xxxxsh4d0wxxxx
I have an AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+ 2.21GHz, 1.25GB of RAM. It played excellent on the RADEON 9200 (PCI) and this a RADEON 9600 PRO (AGP) which I know is faster.
