Problem

Hi,

 

First of all thank you for this great app !

 

Ive been using this since a while on many computer but now Im having some problem .

 

I installed the last version and it worked great for a while (like it did with older version)

But now it doesnt work, everytime I click on aplication tab it shuts down , everytime I click Run Cleaner it stuts down

 

I installed vb runtimes and I keep having the same problem

To stop the automatic closing problem look into and untick if it's selected:

Options->Advanced->Close program after cleaning

sorry forgot to tell you that I already checked this ... still having problems .

Its weird since I have it on many computers with about the same config and it works great on other pc

Have you tried a reinstall, and does it work in safe mode?

yes I tried a reinstall and the same problem again

 

But I will try safe mode and give you some feedback !

Have you had any other problems with your computer lately?

 

Are all your virus/malware scans up to date?

 

What is your operating system, XP?

 

What happens if you run with 1.36 version again, is it just 1.37 that goes wrong?

You installed them, however did you restart your computer after installing them?

 

You could try this, I have no idea if it will be successful though:

1. Uninstall CCleaner, and make sure it's Program Files folder is completely gone too.

2. Re-install the VB Runtime files again.

3. Restart Windows.

4. Install CCleaner, and see if it works.
