Humpty
With an older version OF CC I could navigate to the hidden INFO2 file within the recycle bin through the Recycler folder under Add Custom File or Folders. This came in handy if the bin was ever corrupted then deleting the INFO2 file may have fixed the prob.Windows would generate a new one on reboot. Recently noticed that the newest version won't navigate as far as the INFO2 file, only to the recycle bin itself. Don't know which version this stopped working in but could it be reimplemented. Moderators Andavari Posted February 6, 2007 Moderators Share Posted February 6, 2007 Back in the Win98 days when emptying the Recycle Bin when too many files in it would cause a crash I'd just use a batch file that removed any attributes from the Recycle Bin folder and then delete the contents. I haven't had to do that on WinXP - however I suppose it's worth a shot if the Recycle Bin has become corrupted.
