Moderators rridgely Posted January 25, 2007 Moderators Share Posted January 25, 2007 http://www.vnunet.com/vnunet/news/2173401/xp-support-2014 I'm pretty happy about this. At least I know that I wont have to really worry about switching to anything for a while.
Moderators TwistedMetal Posted January 25, 2007 Moderators Share Posted January 25, 2007 I doubt I will switch to Vista for awhile, since we will see a few more SP's for XP. Anyways, my laptop says it's Vista Capable. Sure it is.... It doesn't support the sound card, and a few other devices. JDPower
Good news, might have a computer capable of running Vista by then
Supaflies
My puter will surely run vista, but Im not going to upgrade anytime soon. Vista is just way to expensive for me to choose it over new hardware...

Well MS seriously needs to release an SP3 because all the updates past SP2 take a long time to download even on DSL. I surely don't feel like creating a dozen or more CD's from the ISO's they have available when it could be rolled out as one big download.
Supaflies
I agree, I reformat my hard drive alot and downloading those updates takes forever and is a huge pain in my rear. This is because I dont know how to go about burning the updates to a CD or anything. My install disk is WinXP home SP1...
