andreasm
It would be a nice feature if I could delete items from the list of recoverable files in recuva. e.g. files which I really don't need anymore or files which shouldn't be recovered, e.g. for security. So, the next time I start recuva, the scanning progress would be faster because there aren't so much files which could be recovered. my private homepage www.energie-bewusstsein.de - stop wasting energy! JDPower
I already asked about this, I think it is planned
body_roq
I realize that such a feature's being planned, however, are they any programs out there that CAN delete the hidden files that Recuva comes across? The ones on my hard drive are eating up A LOT of space.

Scarlet
Stupid question... I installed Eraser, but I'm not sure how to use it. Do I just erase unused space on my C drive? Thanks
JDPower
Stupid question... I installed Eraser, but I'm not sure how to use it. Do I just erase unused space on my C drive? If you want to make the files that Recuva finds unrecoverable then yes, use the erase free space function (This can take quite a while). Also in future to prevent anything you delete being recoverable just use right click>Erase (instead of delete)
andreasm
I want to ask again if my first suggestion will be available in final recuva version, so I don't need to install two programs... my private homepage www.energie-bewusstsein.de - stop wasting energy! unsober
andreasm, i think it's very likely.. it's been suggested alot. it would make the program a lot more useful so i don't see why it won't be added soon !
