Moderators Andavari Posted December 2, 2006 Moderators Share Posted December 2, 2006 People changing user names is really confusing, but to each their own! Maybe putting something under your new name like what Aaron did so we'd know who he is would help, e.g.; like "Formerly Lordoftheweb" would help, but then again your Avatar is a dead giveaway, well until you change it too. PewterRose
Hey all! When I first started really surfing the net, i started using the name "lordoftheweb" as a kind of joke (since i love lordoftherings, and knew/know nothing about computers). but now i wanted to change it to something more interesting to me, so i am now using "1984" as my name. Anyone want to guess what the significance is? Its another joke, but with a touch of seriousness as well. Anything to do with 'Big Brother" watching?? Moderators rridgely Posted December 3, 2006 Moderators Share Posted December 3, 2006 I think his avatar is from v for vendeta. Which is a really strange movie with a government sort of like the orwell book. The movie is pretty good though, its just the main character is very odd. Moderators Andavari Posted December 3, 2006 Moderators Share Posted December 3, 2006 i first tried cheesecake in another year. Cheesecake is good but Apple Pie owns it. The Apple Pie we had for thanksgiving had to be the best I've ever had, then again it was homemade by a lady and was bought from a church baking sale. Now I'm making myself hungry.
