Locked up after 100% Registry Scan

CCleaner Locked up after 100% Registry Scan and I could not get task manager by Ctrl-Alt-Delete.

I had to shut down the computer with the button.

I just installed the latest version of CCleaner. I have Windows 98.

Since you're dealing with Win98 there's a couple of things you should probably do:

* Run ScanDisk on all installed hard drives

* Run System File Checker (start, run, type in SFC) but make sure you have your Win98 install CD handy if any corrupt files are found.
